Recently i started reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan. This is a book that i heard a lot of people talk about, so i thought i should check it out. I actually bought the audio book on itunes, so i have the pleasure of having someone else read it to me.
In the middle of the preface and the first chapter the narrator tells us to stop and go check out this website, http://crazylovebook.com/videos_awe.html. When you get there you will find a couple of different videos that i really liked. This video in particular was amazing. It shows us the amazing creative ability of our God.
After watching that video and seeing how amazing God is, it lead me to start thinking about our students at Eagle. After seeing the creativity and the love that God has for us, it really got me excited about surge. I think that we have a great opportunity to work some very incredible students who have a lot of potential. And as we are only 3 days away from kickoff i want to encourage each of you to begin praying for our students. Pray that God would work in them and through them in their relationships, schools, and families. I believe that the God who created the universe can change the hearts and minds of our students.
This will lead us right into our first lesson for our 5th/6th graders as we will be exploring God's Big Story.
