Rob Bell says that masturbation is simply sex with you. Ever since I have heard this I have come to the realization that no matter who you are or what your gender is, masturbation serves no other purpose than fulfilling your selfish desires. If we Google search “masturbation” we see many different articles saying that it can help prevent cancer (which is good), but we see just as many articles saying the opposite, that it can cause cancer. So there are no real benefits to this activity, scientifically speaking. Therefore, I am taking a very religious viewpoint of it, but I believe that it is wrong for both males and females and has many negative side affects, that will affect your relationships with people and with God (speaking from my own experience).
